Step by Step Guide

Initial Inquiry

Initial Assessment

A DSDS program coordinator will conduct an initial assessment, where they gather basic information about you, your skills, employment goals, and specific details on your NDIS plan. This assessment helps determine your eligibility for the program.

Personalized Assessment and Planning

In-Depth Assessment: If you meet the initial eligibility criteria, a more comprehensive assessment follows. This assessment delves into your strengths, areas for improvement, and specific employment objectives.

Program Orientation

Orientation Meeting: You and, if applicable, your Parents, Guardians or Caregiver will be invited to attend an orientation meeting. During this meeting, you'll be introduced to the program, its structure, and the available resources. It's an opportunity to get familiar with the program and for us to know more about you and your availability, travel arrangements for the program.

Formal Enrolment

Completion of Necessary Forms: To formally enrol in the program, you'll need to complete enrolment forms. These may include consent forms, service agreement forms, and other required documentation for program participation. Once the forms are submitted and processed, your enrolment in the "Get Ready to Work" program is confirmed. You are officially accepted into the program and can commence your journey to becoming job-ready.

Program Participation and Beyond

Training and Support: You'll begin attending program sessions, where you'll receive training in various aspects of job readiness, including resume building, interview skills, job search techniques, and personal development. Throughout the program, you'll also receive mentoring and coaching.
